The PCB workshop was a hands-on session on PCB design, PCB etching, Circuit assembly after which participants got to 3D print the case of your product. This interactive workshop was run in partnership with the team from Warefab Electronics in Kenya.

This workshop on wearable tech and Arduino, covered an introduction to the use Arduino, basic electronics, sensors and actuators in creating interactive projects. Teams used this knowledge to build wearable tech projects using electronics.

This workshop involved building a simple, low-cost weather device that uses sensors to measure the ambient temperature, humidity and light intensity. These devices were also able to connect to the internet from where users could control and monitor the readings of weather device online using a simple web application.

During this workshop, participants learned how to connect interactive Arduino projects to the internet and this way, control and monitor them remotely either from your cell phone or from a computer.
