There were a total of 41 students who participated in the program. Participants comprised of Form Three, Physics students only.
After going through the course material, participants were then divided into 6 teams to work on various projects to create low cost solutions to challenges in their community. Topics included:

ROAD SAFETY
Automatic Self-Driven Vehicle
The vehicle is equipped with sensors and finger-print, voice and eye detectors. In addition to that, the vehicle alerts the driver when there is danger and notifies the driver of the set speed limit at any given time.
LIGHTS
Wearable Lights
Clothes, jewelry and shoes fitted with light sensors which light on or off depending on the intensity of light. These lights are both fashionable and functional!
WASTE
LERIAN Machine
To solve environmental issues caused by sewage and waste by use of a machine dubbed LERIAN that treats sewage. The machine has chambers for water purification and finally stores the distilled water.
IT
Computerized Greenhouse
The greenhouse regulates the conditions necessary for high crop production, therefore making it cost effective. Features in the greenhouse include: thermostat, coolers, automated sprinklers and a decomposer.
WATER
Water Treatment System
To solve the problem of water shortages and poor drainage system by recycling the waste products from a septic tank. Waste water is recycled into fresh water and then pumped back into the bathroom for toilet use. Solid waste from the septic tank is taken to a factory to make fertilizers.
HEALTH
Solar Driven Peddling Cart
A mobile clinic which is powered using solar energy. Solar panels are attached all round the chassis of the vehicle.
